Café Church comes to Ulceby

You don’t have to go to church to share in worship. Now’s your chance to try something a bit different in the heart of the community.

Whilst the old church building has been closed off to enable the new roof and building work to progress more quickly, we have temporarily moved home.

We are so grateful to Mark and Teresa, the proprietors of Tea@6 tearooms in Yarborough Court who have welcomed us to use their premises each Sunday morning at 10.45, enabling us to keep a weekly service within the village. It’s a lovely light, bright venue which we’re enjoying so much, and which is always followed by tea or coffee and sometimes cake as well!

Recently one hot sunny Sunday we came outside into the courtyard and had a wonderful service in the open air. The pictures included were all taken as we were setting up before the service began, you can see how blessed with sunshine we were.

As you can see, there’s no dark old church door to risk opening; just a really warm welcome, amongst local friends. No catch; no obligation; no ‘hard sell!’

It would be lovely to see you there.
